Josh Allen

Josh Allen has been a dedicated member of WM since December 2003, bringing over 20 years of industry experience and more than 16 years of leadership in solid waste and recycling facility operations.

Currently, Josh oversees six of WM’s recycling facilities (MRFs) in Wisconsin and Minnesota as Area Recycling Manager. His oversight includes two of the company’s largest and top-performing single-stream recycling facilities located in Germantown, Wisconsin, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as four high-grade commercial recycling facilities in Milwaukee, Madison, Menasha, and Janesville, Wisconsin.

Josh has played a pivotal role in leading major renovation projects at both the Germantown and Twin Cities facilities. These new facilities significantly increased throughput and enhanced material recovery, through the integration of state-of-the-art technology and automation. In 2024, the WM Germantown Recycling Facility was honored with the Recycling Excellence Award by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. 

Josh’s leadership continues to drive innovation, efficiency, and excellence across WM’s recycling operations, reinforcing the company’s position as an industry leader in recycling and driving sustainability.
