The person we seek will have experience with extended producer responsibility (EPR) and product stewardship policy and will have designed and implemented recycling, reuse, composting, and reduction programs. In addition, top candidates will have experience in multi-stakeholder facilitation to build consensus on environmental policies. SOLID WASTE - MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT I
The City of Saint Paul is seeking an individual to assistant with the management of the Solid Waste Coordinated Collection Program. This position will:

Assist with programming for solid waste, waste reduction, and composting.

Respond to customer inquiries related to the recycling and solid waste collection programs.

Conduct research, collection, and examination of data for program enhancement.

Prepare reports and correspondence, including technical writing of policy changes and procedures.

Resolve escalated Recycling and Solid Waste issues such as billings, garbage collection concerns, including attending legislative hearings on behalf of the City.
