Senior Policy Specialist - Hennepin County Environment & Energy

Hennepin County is seeking a Senior Policy Specialist to coordinate solid waste, natural resources, and other environmental legislative policy work within the Environment and Energy Department here at Hennepin County. This position will work closely with the department’s leadership team, the county’s IGR lobbying team and the Partnership on Waste and Energy’s legislative sub-committee. Senior Planner, Recycling Market Development - Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) 
This position exists to implement and support the State’s Recycling Market Development (RMD) program. The position requires knowledge of recycling and developing markets for recyclable materials. The position also serves as a project manager that integrates work across programs to meet agency strategic goals, especially as it relates to sustainable materials management (SMM)/solid waste policy and planning, increased recycling, and recycling market development.  Applications accepted until October 9.  Learn more and apply here. 

 

Program Assistant, Food Scraps Pickup Program - Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy (R&E)
This position reports to a staff person within the programs department of R&E. This position will provide support to program staff on the management and administration of R&E programs, with priority focus on the Food Scraps Pickup Program (FSPP). This position is a support role with administrative duties.  Position open until filled. Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy (R&E) is searching for a Communications Specialist that can provide support for outreach and communications activities. This position will report to a staff person within the programs department of R&E and will primarily focus on external outreach and communications efforts related to waste reduction and recycling programs. Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience in developing and disseminating communications content.  Position open until filled. Communications Specialist (Community Engagement) - Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy (R&E)
Ramsey/Washington Recycling & Energy (R&E) is searching for a Communications Specialist that can provide support for education and community engagement activities. This position will report to a staff person within the programs department of R&E and will primarily focus on educational efforts related to waste and recycling systems, leading tours of the R&E Center, and engaging with community members to inform R&E priorities. Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience in developing and implementing meaningful educational experiences and community engagement strategies with diverse audiences.  Position open until filled.
